During the process of re-piping a standard house, we remove the current plumbing system. A new main line will be installed either from the exterior of the house or at the water meter. We then redirect the water lines above and down the wall, using our skills to minimize disruption. We only cut into the drywall when absolutely necessary and when no other options are available.
Once the new hot and cold-water lines are in place, we conduct an air test at 100psi, which will be observed by the homeowner, followed by the signing of an affidavit. We then restore the water supply to the house and begin testing everything multiple times while tidying up the area. The drywall cuts are temporarily secured in position and taped until the next day (as allowed by local regulations). On the next business day, the house will be inspected by the City/County Inspector, after which the drywall work will be completed.
